KPEC Conducts OHS Training for Women-Led Boutique and Beauty Salon Cluster in Collaboration with Rescue 1122

Under the Khyber Pass Economic Corridor (KPEC) initiative, an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Training Session was organized for the Women-led Boutique and Beauty Salon Cluster at the Women Chamber of Commerce & Industries (WCCI) on January 02–03, 2026, with the technical support of Rescue 1122.

The two-day training focused on strengthening awareness and practical knowledge of occupational health and safety standards among women entrepreneurs. Key areas covered included workplace safety, fire and electrical safety, emergency response, first aid, safe handling of chemicals, ergonomics, and hygiene practices, particularly relevant to the boutique and beauty salon sector.

Resource persons from Rescue 1122 delivered hands-on demonstrations and shared practical guidance on emergency preparedness and response, enabling participants to better manage workplace risks and ensure the safety of workers and clients.

The training reflects KPEC’s commitment to women’s economic empowerment, capacity building, and the promotion of safe, resilient, and sustainable business environments.
