Enterprise Development Skills Training for Furniture Cluster
In Continuation of the Enterprise Development Training for potential clusters, Four (04) days of Capacity Building Workshop / Training Event were conducted in District Peshawar from 18th– 21st July 2023, wherein 25 Businessmen from Furniture Business Cluster successfully completed their training course. The workshop was organized by Khyber Pass Economic Corridor (KPEC) through their Consulting Firm Empowerment thru Creative Integration (ECI).
The purpose of the training was to enhance the Business Development, Promotion, Management, and E-Commerce Skills of the entrepreneurs in the Furniture Business Cluster in the area. Two Different sessions on AMAZON & Energy Audit in collaboration with TDAP and SMEDA were also arranged and conducted during the training. Based on the Diagnostic Study and Training need Assessment, 500 individuals from selected Business Clusters in Districts Peshawar and Khyber are being trained in Business Management Skills, under the Capacity Building Initiative of Khyber Pass Economic Corridor (KPEC).
The training was followed by a Certificate Distribution Ceremony and was graced by PMU – KPEC Staff and Furniture Association. The Participants appreciated the activity and highlighted the importance of Business Management Skills in business growth and sustainability and assured all possible support to KPEC in the smooth implementation of the Project activities in the future.
